Prishtina Jazz Festival, acclaimed to be one of the most important cultural events in the country, has managed to bring famous and important artists of the world, has stimulated and encouraged the development and improvement of local jazz scene, has continuous collaboration and cooperation with international artists, associations and festivals, and, has found its place in the network of european and world jazz festivals. Today, nearing the sixth edition of Prishtina Jazz Festival we are happy to introduce new ideas on making the festival better, new ideas that will have a stronger impact and stimulate more strongly the development of musical scene in Kosovo. Among those ideas, Youth Jazz Lunch Concert Stage will be introduced - a separate stage dedicated to young local and regional talents. They will be encouraged to write and perform their original pieces. Guest artist of the festival will have a chance to listen to these creations and comment, help and occasionally perform with these young musicians, which will undoubtedly stimulate and encourage them greatly.

A good, important initiative, hopefully it will go on..Culture and art definitely help people joining together, and Kosovo needs it a lot, trying to forget its heavy recent past, and stepping out with its own potential, trying to feel just like any other country.....
just young people have to not forgent their own roots, maybe contamination with cifteli sound would be great...
they have so personal, original, ancient, holy, hypnotic and magic music...
